The Park is located in the center of town. There is a shelter with picnic tables, a play area for small children, a picturesque bridge, and many flowering trees and shrubs. The shelter has a water hydrant and electricity available and a Port-a-Potty is located within the Park. The shelter can be reserved for special events by calling City Hall at (515) 434-2242. There is also a softball field located across the park on school grounds.

NESCO Recreation Board provides local youth sports progams for children ages 4 thru 8th grade. Progams include Basketball, Wrestling, Flag Football, Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Swimming lessons. Registration forms for current seasons are available at the NESCO Recreation blog . (Go to Blog)
